Brian Crower LightWeight connecting rods with ARP2000 fasteners, sold as a set of 6 for the US-spec BMW E36 M3 with the S50 or S52 engine, as a lightweight long rod for naturally aspirated builds. Brian Crower: "Made from aerospace grade, 4340 chromoly steel, BC high performance LW connecting rods deliver the throttle response and the RPM range required for high revs. Every rod is CNC machined, micropolished surface finish treatment, equipped with Aluminum/Silicone/Bronze pin bushings and finish honed to exacting tolerances."

• Rod weight: 426 g per rod, vs 535 g for the OEM rod. That saves 109 g per rod, 654 g (about 1.44 lb) across all six.
• Center-to-center length: 5.433 in. (138.0mm)
• Big end bore: 1.890 in.; big end width: 0.858 in.
• Pin end bore: 0.827 in.; pin end width: 0.855 in.
• Fasteners: ARP2000, 3/8 in., torque 50–55 ft-lb
• Rod bearings: the big end takes ACL Race Series H-series rod bearings for the Honda B18C (standard size). One bearing set covers 4 rods, so 6 rods need 2 sets.

Specs and fitment: Set of 6 lightweight long rods, 5.433 in. center-to-center, ASF part number ASF-S5X-LR6. For US-spec BMW E36 M3 S50 (S50B30US) and S52 (S52B32) naturally aspirated builds.
