Shipping Your Engine or Block to ASF Machine
Not local to Grand Junction? Not a problem. We do machine work and rebuilds on engines, blocks and cases sent in from all over, Subaru, Porsche and plenty of others. Just do one thing first: contact us before you ship anything. We'll give you shipping and packing instructions for what you're sending, so it gets here in one piece and we know it's coming.
What to Tell Us
Use the form below or call us, and include:
- The vehicle & engine. Year, make, model and engine (for example, an EJ257 out of an STI, or a 3.4 out of a Cayman S).
- What you're sending. Bare block or case, heads, a short block, or the complete engine.
- The problem, or the goal. What happened, what you've noticed, or what you want the build to do.
- Your return address. Where the parts go back to when we're done.
The more you tell us up front, the better the conversation we can have before anything goes in a box.
Packing It Up
Always check with us before sending. We'll tell you how to pack what you're sending.
If you are bringing or shipping us engine parts, please remove valuable electronics such as solenoids, crank or cam sensors, wiring harnesses, injectors etc. We have no need for your non-mechanical engine components unless we are assembling your vehicle.
If you are shipping us your engine, block or case, please package it accordingly and imagine a big guy in a brown or purple outfit throwing your box out of a truck onto the ground - package with this in mind and everything should be ok; if it isn't then it is between you and the freight company.
